Jeannie Watkins

Jeannie Watkins was one of the first UK trained Physician Associates (PA), qualifying in 2007. She has worked as a PA in acute medicine and primary care and was Course Director for the Masters in Physician Associates Studies programme (MPAS) at St George’s University London. She is currently Programme Director and Professorial Lead for the Masters in Physician Associates Studies programme (MPAS) at Swansea University and Chair of PA Schools Council (PASC). Jeannie is a registered member and former President of the Faculty of Physician Associates at the Royal College of Physicians and a fellow of the Higher Education Academy.

Jeannie Watkins was a Director of Physician Associates Transforming Healthcare (PATH) from February 2017 to February 2024.
